At its annual conference, NAOSMM honors one of its members as the Outstanding Scientific Materials Manager of the Year. To be eligible for this distinction, the recipient must have demonstrated distinguished operational, educational or administrative activity, must have contributed to the advancement of the profession and must have been an active participant of NAOSMM. The Manager of the Year receives a plaque and one of our sponsors, Kimble/Kontes Glass, honors the recipient with a beautiful piece of Frabel glassware. Members who have received recognition are proud of this special honor and cherish this as a highlight of their career.
