  • Sheraton at the Falls check policy

    All guest reservations need to be secured by a credit card at the time they make their reservation and final payment can be made by credit card, cash, or check (checks only if received 10 business days prior to their arrival date. Checks will not be accepted on-site). If payment needs to be made by purchase order, individuals must submit said purchase order 10 business days prior to arrival for approval. Purchase order payment is only valid if approved by our accounting office in advance.

    If guests are tax exempt, they will need to present proper identification and paperwork prior to or at check-in. Submission of a group’s tax exemption form to the hotel to review will also clarify qualifications.

The Conference and Event Center of Niagara Falls is a dedicated 116,00 foot meeting center capable of accommodating meetings of any size with the latest audio visual equipment including LCD projectors, smart board technology, video teleconferencing, retractable screens, podiums, microphones, tackable wall surfaces and built in white boards. Within the center there is a business support center with free wireless, a dedicated learning center, an exhibit hall and grand ballroom.

Travel Information

By air: There are two major airports that serve the region; Buffalo-Niagara International Airport ( is in the suburbs of Buffalo about 20 miles from the conference, and services major carriers such as Southwest, United, U.S. Air, JetBlue etc. The airport code is BUF. The Niagara Falls International Airport ( is in Niagara Falls itself and services a few low cost carriers. The airport code here is IAG.

Taxi Fare: The hotel is a 20-30 minute cab ride from the airport; expect fares of about $65-$70.

Ride Share: NAOSMM has made arrangements with Buffalo Airport Shuttle ( to provide discounted rides to and from the Buffalo airport and the Sheraton at the Falls hotel in Niagara Falls.

The prices are as follows:

3 Passengers or more $18.00

*Price is a one way, per person flat rate which includes tolls, surcharge and baggage handling. However, that price does not include driver gratuity.

All payments will need to be handled between you and the shuttle company. NAOSMM will NOT be coordinating the payment of fees or tips for transportation.

To participate in the shuttle ride share this year, please call the shuttle company directly and reserve your spot with a credit card. Be sure to tell them you are with NAOSMM. Our contact there is Kate Paluch. Her email is and her phone numbers are 716-685-2550 or toll free 877-750-2550.

Kate will ask for your flight information and a cell phone number for the day of travel, so please have that information ready. Your credit card will only be charged on the day that travel takes place or you can chose to pay with cash. The company reserves the right to also charge your card if you fail to cancel a reservation without 24-hour notice. For all the terms and conditions, please visit

The shuttle company will look at our group and decide the best departure and pick up times based on the attendees participating and will do their best to arrange travel in groups of two or three or more. Please note that you might have to wait for a short time, if other attendees’ arrivals/departures are within an hour or so of your times. You can also insist on waiting for second or third passengers to keep your cost low, as long as they are available.

We don’t want anyone to have to pay the single passenger fee which is quite expensive. More participants means better chances for flight times matching up. For that reason, you are strongly encouraged to use this shuttle service, to help you, your employer and your fellow attendees save money on transportation costs.

Keep in mind that a one-way taxi ride from the airport to the hotel can cost $55-$70 plus tip.

Finally, please note that you need to make your reservation with Buffalo Airport Shuttle by JUNE 28. This will allow the shuttle company ample notice to determine the best travel times for our attendees.

By car: Niagara Falls is located in western New York on an international border with Canada. Many of you indicated to me in Albuquerque that you would be driving to Niagara Falls for the conference. Below is some information about travel times to Niagara Falls by car:

Canada is in walking and driving distance but to renter the U.S., make sure you have a U.S. passport, U.S. passport card, enhanced driver’s license, NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST enrollment cards. Children under 16 must have birth certificates if they do not possess the previously listed credentials. For more information please check the U.S. Customs and Border Security website at

Helpful Information for First Time Attendees

Money Savers

First time attendees should be aware that there are ways to reduce the cost of the conference. Travel grants are available but you must apply by April 20. Click here for critera and application

Dress Code

Dress code is business casual for the daytime conference events and trade show. For evening events dress appropriately for the venue - we have attended ball games, museums, comedy clubs, riverboat cruises, etc. so watch for these details.

The Thursday banquet is a dress up occasion for your "Sunday best"; men in suit and tie and women in dressy attire (formal evening wear is not necessary) For the Sunday and Friday optional tours, shorts and sandals are acceptable. Many meals are provided throughout the week. Information will be posted as the conference draws closer. For those with special dietary needs, please provide your requirements when you register for the conference so the catering service can meet your needs. If any evening events are hosted outside the hotel, this information will be passed along as well. Coffee makers are available in the hotel rooms.

Business Cards

Remember to bring at least 100 business cards. You will need these for the trade show and networking.
