Ride App Pickup (Lyft and Uber)

Lyft and Uber rides are available to passengers arriving to and departing from Richmond International Airport.  Passengers departing from RIC should coordinate the most convenient drop off location with their driver.  Passengers arriving to RIC have two convenient pickup options to choose from:

Pickup Option 1: 

  • Located on the upper Departures level (Ticketing & Gates), this option is most convenient for travelers without checked luggage and during periods of peak demand when Option 2 is more congested.
  • Utilizing Ride App Pickup Option 1 is as easy as 1-2-3:
    1. Navigate to the terminal curbside on the Departures level (Ticketing).
    2. Turn right and follow green “Ride App Pickup” signage.
    3. Select Upper/Departures Level in your Lyft or Uber app.

Pickup Option 2:

  • Located on the lower Arrivals level (Baggage Claim), this option is most convenient for travelers with checked luggage.
  • Utilizing Ride App Pickup Option 2 is as easy as 1-2-3:
    1. Proceed down to the lower Arrivals level (Baggage Claim) and navigate to the terminal curb outside.
    2. Turn right and follow green “Ride App Pickup” signage.
    3. Select Arrivals Level in your Lyft or Uber app.

Public Transportation

Another way to get to the Richmond Marriott Hotel from the RIC airport is to use the Richmond area bus transport system. The Richmond area bus transport system received a grant that allows bus service to be free through the end of the year. Here is the link for the bus transport connecting the hotel and the airport. Please note: Route 7A Service Disruption will be out of service, leaving RIC-Airport beginning today at 2:45 pm.  Expect delays on the route 7A/7B.  For help with bus tracking call Customer Service at 804-358-4782.

Complimentary Local Shuttle Service & Hotel Parking Information

Hotel Shuttle: A free shuttle is available from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and will transport you within two miles of the hotel. It does not do airport runs. Please ask the hotel concierge for instructions to use this service. Although the shuttle is free, tips for the drivers are recommended. 

Hotel Parking: The Hotel Valet Parking Rate is $41.00 per day. The Marriott self-parking deck is available at several nearby parking lots and garages not managed by Marriott. Garage parking is available across the street from the hotel. The rate is $20/day but is not an in-and-out service. A walkway connects this garage to the hotel.

Self-Parking Information: Important: Please allow an extra 10–20 minutes for parking. Prices noted below are subject to change.

The Marriott self-parking deck hourly rates are as follows:

  • 0–1 hour: $5
  • 1–2 hours: $10
  • 2–3 hours: $15
  • 3–24 hours: $20
  • Evening/weekend rate: $8
