Educational Tours: McKinstry, Gonzaga Univ., Steel Barrel Brewery and ODO Oil- Bus leaves outside conference registration at 9:00 am.

The Friday tour is actually several combined tours.  The first will be a tour of McKinstry (https://www.mckinstry.com/), an engineering firm that works on a variety of green projects.  Afterwards we will tour the Gonzaga University Biology and Chemistry Departments, and have lunch.

The day will end with a tour of Steel Barrel Brewery, and a tour of ODO Oil (https://www.odofineoil.com/), which extracts chemicals from marijuana.  Whatever your feelings about legal marijuana, there is lots of good chemistry involved, and it’s a whole new industry that has begun to develop only in the last few years Mike West from ODO Oil will present: "Medicinal Plants & New Jobs In Our Industry"
