Join NAOSMM

Joining NAOSMM is simple, just select the appropriate membership category from the options below, either Regular Membership or Corporate Membership. Retired NAOSMM Members may apply for Lifetime Membership also.

Membership Categories

Regular Membership 

Who is eligible: 

  • Persons who engage in laboratory management and/or administration, purchasing or use of scientific materials for use at their place of employment. This includes individuals who represent scientific material stores or procurement in the following areas:
    • Education
    • State/Federal government
    • Research
    • Hospital
    • Industry

Benefits of membership: 

  • Exclusive promotions and discounts from NAOSMM Corporate Members.
  • Access to NAOSMM Listserv, enabling members to interact 24/7.
  • Networking with other members in the same field.
  • Attendance at the annual conference which offers seminars, workshops, and a trade show.

  • Access to Member Only area of the NAOSMM website.

Annual dues: $100.00

Associate Membership 

Who is eligible: 

  • Persons who have held Regular member status who changed employment and no longer meet the criteria for Regular membership.
  • Persons who are employed in sales or marketing by vendors or distributors of scientific materials are not eligible.

Benefits of membership: 

  • Access to NAOSMM Listserv, enabling members to interact 24/7.
  • Networking with other members.
  • Attendance at the annual conference which offers seminars, workshops, and a trade show.
  • Certification program to enhance career/credentials.
  • Quarterly magazine Newsline with insightful articles and information.
  • Access to Members Only area of the NAOSMM website.

Annual dues: $50.00      

Associate Membership Application

Corporate Membership 

Who is eligible: 

  • Companies who are manufacturers/vendors of scientific materials.

Benefits of membership: 

  • Access to the NAOSMM Regular Member database.
  • Company logo and contact information listed on the NAOSMM website.
  • The option to be included in the NAOSMM Vendor Discount List.
  • Quarterly magazine Newsline for up to three representatives.
  • Opportunities for advertisement in the Newsline and on the NAOSMM website.
  • Opportunities for sponsorships at the annual conference and trade show.

Corporate Membership Application

Lifetime Membership 

Who is eligible:

  • NAOSMM members who are retired and have been members for at least ten years.

Benefits of membership: 

  • Access to NAOSMM Listserv.
  • Networking with other members.
  • Attendance at the annual conference at a reduced rate.
  • Quarterly magazine Newsline with insightful articles and information.
  • Access to the Members Only area of the NAOSMM website.

Annual dues: $0.00 

  Lifetime Membership Application    

  Member content requires NAOSMM login and password, which is provided via email once membership is paid. Follow instructions provided to pay by credit card online or mail a check with a printed membership application to the address provided. Questions may be directed to:  membership@naosmm.org
