Types of Registration:

 

  • Regular members ($350) and Lifetime members ($250) registration entitles members to attend lectures, receptions, breaks, and vendor sponsored events. The Thursday Awards banquet is included only in Regular Member registration. You will be prompted to add companions/non-members to your registration before completing your Initial Registration.

 

  • Companions (age 12 years and up $250, Age 6 - 11 $125 and 5 and younger - Free) All Companions must have a paid registration if they wish to attend lectures, meals (including receptions), refreshment breaks and vendor events. Companions are family/friends of a registered NAOSMM member and are not eligible for Regular NAOSMM membership. Please do not bring children under the age of 12 into the sessions.

 

 

  • Additions: Lifetime members, Non-members, registered and unregistered companions may purchase tickets to attend the Thursday banquet and/or tours.

 

Deadlines for Registration Payment:

  • Registration Deadline: Registration deadline is June 1, 2022.
  • Late Registration Fee: Registration after June 1, 2022 will be charged a $50 late registration fee.
  • Late Payment Fee: Payments received after July 8, 2022 will incur a $50 late payment fee.

Do not delay to register! Payment may be deferred until July 8th to accommodate your budget cycle. Please mark the expected payment date in the space on your registration.

 

Note:

  • Registrants receive a nametag, which serves as an entry ticket for events in their registration category.
 

Thursday Awards Banquet (note: Banquet meal included in Regular member registration fee)

Entrée options: $70.00

  • Oven Roasted French Cut Chicken - with haircot vert, red beet risotto, citrus and rosemary pan gravy
  • Char Grilled Pork Loin - blackened new potatoes, brocolini, citrus oil, jazebel sauce
  • Tarragon Butter Basted Salmon - buttery Adluh Mills grits, baby zucchini, court bouillon buerre blanc, crispy capers
  • Vegetarian - Four Cheese Manicotti

All plated dinners are served with a baby spinach salad (strawberry, toasted pecans, goat cheese, raspberry vinaigrette), bread service, freshly brewed coffee, hot teas, and dessert. Cash bar is available.

 

 


Annual Business Meeting Luncheon (note: This meal is only available for Regular and Lifetime members) Entrée options:

  • Garden Vegetable Pesto Wrap -  portobello mushrooms, zucchini, roasted peppers, arugula
  • Oven Roasted Turkey Breast Sandwich - applewood smoked bacon, bibb lettuce, sliced tomato, shaved red onion on ciabatta bread
  • Slow Roasted Beef and Cheddar Sandwich - bibb lettuce, sliced tomato, shaved red onion on marbled rye bread

All boxes served with condiments, chips, potato salad, chocolate chip cookie, whole fruit, tea and water. Whole fruit will be served on the side for guest selection.


Dress Code:

  • It is recommended you wear Business Casual or Smart Casual attire at all sessions and Trade Show.
  • We recommend Business/Informal or Semi-Formal for the Thursday Awards Banquet.

Laboratory Safety Institute Pre-conference Courses:

These lab safety courses will provide you with the information needed to make your laboratory a safer place to work. You will take home the knowledge to develop or improve your lab safety program and comply with the OSHA Lab Standard. Dr. James Kaufman is the founder and President Emeritus of the Laboratory Safety Institute. He has been called “the nation’s foremost authority on safety instruction in academia.” Over the past 45 years, Dr. Kaufman has educated over 100,000 scientists and science educators in 140 types of labs in nearly 34 countries.

 

Saturday  8:00am - 4:30pm: How to be a More Effective CHO - Whether you are a new Chemical Hygiene Officer or an “old” one, you will find something to put to real use in this fast-paced presentation. This one-day course was developed by RJG Associates as the prep course for the NRCC Chemical Hygiene Officer Certification Exam. It covers the requirements of the lab standard, other lab regulations, the role of the CHO, getting others involved, developing and improving your chemical hygiene plan, lab hazards, and resources.

 

Sunday  - 8:00am - 4:30pm: Developing a More Effective Lab Safety Program - The one-day “Developing a more Effective Lab Safety Program” course discusses the 33 elements of an effective lab safety program and criteria for their evaluation. Lab managers, lab technicians, and lab workers will benefit from this intensive and entertaining course. Participants learn how to evaluate their lab safety program and make it more effective lab safety program without a purchase order or requisition.

Greenville History Tour

Bus and walking tour of Greenville brings you to highlights and history throughout the West End and South/North Main St. areas. Led by local historian and author ("A Guide to Historic Greenville, SC") John Nolan, you'll trace the development of the textile industry that transformed this small village into the "Textile Capital of the World." The walking tour will be about a half mile along the Riverwalk park on the Reedy River. Pickup and return to hotel.

Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC

Winery: Spend some time at the relaxing Winery, located in Antler Hill Village. Share stories of a day well spent as their knowledgeable wine hosts introduce you to multi-award-winning vintages, each handcrafted on the estate. *Reservations are required for all wine tastings on the day of our estate visit.

Photos are taken of conference activities. Please let a board member know if you do not want your picture published in the Newsline or the website. Names are not associated with photos. Please do not tag photos on social media without the permission of those photographed.


NAOSMM Regular and Lifetime Members must complete registration online by logging in to their Member Center.

Registering without logging into the Member Center will not allow your information to auto populate.

2. Log in with your username and password.  If you don't remember your username, click forgot user name and your user name will be emailed to you. If you don't remember your password, click the forgot password link and follow the instructions.

3. Once logged in, click on Events.

4. Click on the NAOSMM 49th Conference & Trade Show (second option).

5. READ CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY ALL THE INFORMATION PROVIDED TO YOU ON THE REGISTRATION INFORMATION PAGE  BEFORE you register including the refund policy.

6. When finished, click the Register Now button (bottom of page).
